Mony Rueven is Chief Executive Officer and co-Chief Investment Officer of Kintegral Asset Management.
Mony Rueven is a veteran of the financial industry, with more than 30 years of experience building businesses around paradigm shifts in global markets. He began his career at State Street Bank in 1982, developing pension fund investment systems. He then moved to Thomson Financial, where he conceived and built ALERT/OASYS, a widely embraced trade allocation and acceptance service. Later he worked at Jefferies, where he was the developmental force behind ITG, an early leader in technology-enabled institutional trading, and managed the building of POSIT, the first anonymous electronic trade marketing system for institutional investors. In 1992 he was recruited by Credit Suisse First Boston, where he worked to add major corporations and money management firms to the company’s client base for global equity portfolio trading. Mr. Rueven joined the D. E. Shaw group in 1994, and from 1997 to 2000 was a Managing Director in the quantitative equities group. Mr. Rueven returned to the D. E. Shaw group in 2005 as the Managing Director of the Alternative Liquidity group. Prior to rejoining D. E. Shaw, Mr. Rueven was the Senior Managing Director at Knight Capital Group, which he joined in 2003 to oversee the company’s newly created Electronic Trading team and where he became the Head of their Broker-Dealer. Additionally, he spent one year at BNP CooperNeff developing their electronic trading infrastructure as the Head of U.S. Enhanced Portfolio Strategies. Mr. Rueven has a history of entrepreneurship. He was founder and CEO of Springline Capital, LLC, a statistical arbitrage hedge fund, which was later integrated into Knight Capital Group. Mr. Rueven has managed over $10 billion in total assets.
Mr. Rueven holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology.
